Born on April 3, 1953 in Taylorville, Illinois, Mark was the son of Michael and Elsie Baccadutre. He married Carole Bishop on September 22, 1973 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Taylorville. Mark worked as a coal miner for many years, and later at waste management. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing, beekeeping, woodworking, and in his younger years he was an avid fisherman and hunter. Mark was a wonderful storyteller and always had a joke to share.

William J. "Bill" Smith

Frank retired in 1991 from Caterpillar as an assemblyman on the motor grader line. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Taylorville where he served in many capacities including church Elder, Trustee, Lutheran Layman’s League/Men’s Club. He also played in the church softball league, as well as a bowling league. In addition to his memberships, Frank also volunteered his time as a firefighter and for the rescue squad in Taylorville. He was an avid Cardinals & Illini fan and loved coaching little league.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Curtin, whom he married January 3, 1981. He is also survived by his daughter Janet of Macungie, PA, his son Michael of Saratoga Springs, NY, and his grandchildren Matthew and Alison . In addition, he is survived by his brothers Larry of Taylorville, Paul of Lisle, IL, John , of Taylorville, sister Dorothy of Mount Sterling, IL, many nieces and nephews, Nancy’s daughter Lisa Henrich , sons Rob Marcolina , Rick Marcolina , and their children. He was preceded in death by his dad John H. Scofield and by his sister Carole Haire.

He is survived by his oldest brother Jim Powell, oldest sister Susan McDonald, and youngest sister Kelly Pruim. Glenn was born February 12, 1937 in rural Christian County, the son of Carl Henry Christian and Leona Fesser. He married Mary Jane Van Pelt on July 9, 1966 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, in Palmer, NE.

After so many years in broadcasting, Johnn decided on a totally different career as a State Investigator with the Secretary of State Department of Police, retiring after 25 years of service. Mr. Mazzotti was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police. When he wasn’t working, he could often be found having coffee at the Country Kitchen, taking a walk in the park looking for change and taking car rides with his dog, Mia, or playing the slot machines. At home, he enjoyed taking care of his yard, tinkering on his car while listening to the oldies, and he especially treasured spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed by his friends and his family.

John Thomas Hartwig

She also spent over 9 years as a bus driver for the Forsyth County Schools Transportation Department and managed a Lil Ceaser’s Pizza Place. Her hobbies included bowling and boating but most importantly spending time with her family. Seitz Funeral Home, Assumption has been entrusted with the care and service arrangements. June was born July 8, 1924 in Buffalo, IL, the daughter of Harrison Andrew and Ruth Lee Hudson. She married Robert Leonard Smith May 4, 1944 in Mechanicsburg, IL. He preceded her in death September 11, 2000. She later married Raymond Joseph “Red” DeClerck August 5, 1972 in Assumption, IL. He preceded her in death January 17, 2001.

Mark and Wendy were co-owners of Taylorville Monogram for the last 12 years. Mark was an avid fisherman and enjoyed fishing locally and from a young age, enjoyed countless salmon fishing trips to Michigan. He met his high school sweetheart, Becky Brooks, and they were married in 1963. They moved to Morris, IL where he became a partner in the radio station there. Shortly after, they moved to Jacksonville, IL, where he sold advertising at WLDS Radio. When Keith Mayor built a beautiful TV station in Jacksonville, he asked Johnn to be their sports director.

Joey was a knowledgeable and talented musician – songwriter, guitar player, and singer. He recorded an album of original songs with the band Can’t Imagine and co-founded the band The Remedy with friends, going on to play with them for 17 years. He was a great collector of vinyl and had a vast knowledge of rock, classical, and jazz.

Jeff married Hettie Allee on June 19, 1991 in Pedernales Falls State Park in Blanco County, Texas. Lisa enjoyed boating, canning, old country music and classic rock, and especially all the time she was able to spend at family gatherings. Family and friends are invited to light a candle or share a story in Bill’s honor at Mr. Smith married Mary Lou Dean in 1971 in Jacksonville, IL. They have enjoyed over 50 years together. Joey was always giving back to his family, friends, and community, and with his death, he chose to continue giving of himself through being an organ donor to help others live. Family was everything to Joey, and no one more than the light of his life, his daughter Jolie Renee.

Frank was always there for his family, he was an integral member of his church, his community, and he will be dearly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. She was also preceded in death by her parents; sister, Evelyn Irvin; and brothers, Don, Harv, John, and Gerald Harding. Bill was born on June 11, 1944, in Todd’s Point Township, the son of Roy and Nancy Voyles. Bill and Karen Hudson were married on December 16, 1990 and were blessed with 31 years of marriage. Bill was a truck driver for many years retiring in the early 2000’s. He enjoyed baling hay, tending to his farm animals, especially hogs and tinkering.

She worked for Millburg’s Drug Store in Morrisonville, then for the Illinois Secretary of State for five years, before moving to San Diego, CA. While there she was a volunteer ombudsman for the U.S.S. Kinkaid for five years, while Don was serving in the U.S. At that time, she was also a commercial lines underwriter for Home Federal Credit Union. Upon she and Don’s return to Central Illinois, Arlene began working as a legal secretary in the Office of the State Appellate Defender, Supreme Court Unit, eventually retiring in 2011.
